The Europe India Centre for Business and Industry (EICBI) hosted a session on 28 January 2026 at the UK Parliament in London to mark the UN International Day of Education. Co-presented by Water & Shark the session focused on "The Role of Education in Building and Protecting Economic Value across Trade, Investment, and Wealth." It is EICBI’s 30th session in the UK parliament.
The session commenced with the opening remarks by Mr. Sujit S Nair, Chairman of EICBI. Keynote addresses followed from distinguished speakers including Lord Kuldip Sahota and Lord Rami Ranger, Members of the House of Lords; Hon. Dr. Neil Shastri-Hurst, MP for Solihull West and Shirley. The session was moderated by Mr. Abhishek Tripathi, Vice Chair of EICBI and CEO of Abiflo.

Subsequent segments featured felicitation ceremonies and short presentations by Ms. Kerry Bannigan, President of the Board and Managing Director of PVBLIC Foundation, on "Transforming Global Education"; Mr. Raaj Shamji, Associate Director of Public and Community Engagement at Birmingham City University; and Mr. Aborode Olusegun, Blockchain Data Lead at Surgence Labs.

The core panel session on "The Role of Education in the Great Wealth Transfer: Protection, Preservation and Cross-Border Continuity," was led by Adv. CA Harsh Patel, Founder and Global CEO of Water & Shark.
This was followed by "Next-Gen Capital and Impact Investing: Educated Decisions for Sustainable Value Creation" by CA Dixit Jain, Partner at Water & Shark. These sessions emphasized on the role of education in value creation, trade, and intergenerational wealth management.

The session concluded with networking, fostering dialogue among business leaders, educators, investors, and policymakers on leveraging education for EU-India/UK-India economic ties. The event aligns with EICBI's mission to promote strategic partnerships in trade, investment, and sustainability.
