EU-India Roadshow by EICBI in Andhra Pradesh – A Strategic Build-Up to the EU India Leaders Conference in Brussels

The Europe India Centre for Business and Industry (EICBI)- A European Parliament accredited organisation, successfully hosted a high-impact EU-India Roadshow in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh as part of our ongoing initiative to deepen business and policy engagement between India and the European Union. The event was organized in the lead-up to the EU India Leaders Conference, scheduled to take place at the European Parliament in Brussels on 5th November 2025.

This exclusive roadshow was chaired by Mr. Lakshmikantham IAS (Retd), Vice Chair – International Trade at EICBI, who has been at the forefront of advancing global trade partnerships and policy alignment. The roadshow featured Mr. Sujit S. Nair, Chairman of EICBI, as the keynote guest, whose strategic vision and consistent leadership continue to shape impactful dialogues between Europe and India across sectors.

The event brought together over 90 companies from Andhra Pradesh, marking an enthusiastic response from the state’s thriving business ecosystem. It was an inspiring showcase of the entrepreneurial spirit and innovation potential embedded in Andhra Pradesh’s industrial landscape.
Participating Sectors:
The diversity of participants reflected the growing synergy between European and Indian stakeholders. Delegates represented a wide range of sectors including:
Semiconductors: Companies keen on establishing collaborative R&D and manufacturing partnerships with European tech hubs.
Renewable Energy: Stakeholders engaged in solar, wind, and green hydrogen showed a strong interest in knowledge exchange and joint ventures.
Education and Skills: Universities and educational startups explored pathways for academic mobility, dual-degree programs, and digital learning collaborations.
MSMEs: Several emerging industries also marked their presence, underlining the state's ambition to become a pan-sectoral trade and innovation hub.

This roadshow created a dynamic platform for awareness building, pre-conference alignment, and stakeholder mobilization for the upcoming Brussels conference. It served as a springboard for Andhra Pradesh-based companies to explore market opportunities, connect with potential European partners, and understand the regulatory frameworks essential for cross-border cooperation.
