Hosted at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, the Summit provides a global platform for leaders and innovators to collaborate on designing resilient, inclusive, and future-ready national learning systems. The Summit recognises that education is not simply a social service but a critical infrastructure for national sovereignty, economic growth, and sustainable development. By bringing together policymakers, technology leaders, investors, and educators, the Summit aims to transform ideas into actionable frameworks for global education reform

Why Global Education Must Transform

Education systems worldwide face significant challenges that demand urgent action.

  • Only 58% of students globally achieve minimum reading proficiency by the end of primary school.

  • 4 out of 5 countries experienced major learning losses during pandemic-related school closures.

  • There is an estimated $97 billion annual financing gap to achieve quality education for all.

  • By 2030, 300 million youth may still lack basic literacy and numeracy skills.

These realities underscore the need to rebuild education systems as foundational infrastructure for the future of nations and societies.
